Job Overview
The Purchase Manager role involves handling procurement activities specifically related to textile chemicals, dyes, and auxiliaries sourced from both India and China. The position requires managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, and comparing costs to ensure the best procurement deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure textile-related chemicals and related materials from domestic and international suppliers.
- Develop and maintain vendor partnerships while negotiating prices and conducting cost analysis.
- Oversee import procedures including documentation and liaising with Customs House Agents and freight logistics teams.
- Plan inventory, manage stock levels, and ensure timely placement of orders.
- Coordinate with quality control teams and sales department to maintain standards.
- Review bills and coordinate with the accounts department to follow up on payments.
