About the Role

Gyandhara is looking for a diligent and well-organized Purchase Executive based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. This full-time position involves overseeing procurement activities to guarantee timely availability of materials, machinery, and supplies critical to operations in the cattle feed and poultry sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage vendors while negotiating prices, contract terms, and agreements.
• Procure feed additives, premixes, packaging materials, consumables, and related non-raw materials.
• Handle purchasing of plant machinery, essential equipment, and spare parts.
• Analyze market trends and prices to uncover cost-saving purchasing opportunities.
• Ensure timely delivery of procured goods and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Collaborate closely with production, Quality Assurance, and stores teams to ascertain their procurement needs.
• Maintain meticulous purchase records, documentation, and ensure compliance with policies.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have between 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or vendor management roles. Candidates with a background in the cattle feed or poultry industry will be given preference.
