About the Role
The Purchase Executive will be responsible for planning procurement activities to ensure material availability and maintaining supplier relationships. Key focus areas include supplier identification, negotiation, purchase order management, and timely delivery tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute purchase plans ensuring materials are available as needed.
- Identify and develop supplier base to support business requirements.
- Manage request for quotations (RFQ), negotiate terms, and drive cost-effective procurement.
- Oversee purchase order creation, issuance, and management processes.
- Expedite orders and monitor on-time delivery performance.
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Optimize inventory levels and purchase volumes for operational efficiency.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement strategies.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams for smooth procurement operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and management information systems (MIS) related to procurement.
- Manage procurement of critical and long-lead items to prevent project delays.
- Identify and mitigate supplier risks impacting supply chain continuity.
Additional Information
Monthly salary ranges between 12,000 to 14,000 INR.
