Role Overview
The Purchase Executive position is a full-time role based on-site at Hilton Garden Inn Goa Calangute. This role entails overseeing daily purchasing responsibilities such as sourcing suppliers, obtaining and comparing quotations, negotiating terms and pricing, and ensuring prompt delivery of goods and services.
The incumbent will monitor stock levels, process purchase orders, validate invoices against deliveries, and collaborate with different departments including kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance to assess their procurement needs. The role mandates adherence to Hilton brand standards and applicable local regulations, maintaining precise procurement records, supporting cost-control efforts, and nurturing strong supplier relationships to guarantee quality and supply continuity.
Candidate Profile
- Proven knowledge in procurement methods, vendor relationship management, and fundamental contract negotiation.
- Competency in inventory management, purchase order tracking, and record keeping with accuracy.
- Good analytical and numerical abilities to perform cost comparisons, assist with budgeting, and monitor expenses.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate among internal teams and external suppliers.
- Familiarity with MS Office suite and experience or knowledge of purchasing or ERP software relevant to hospitality.
- Prior purchasing experience in hotel or hospitality sectors, with awareness of food, beverage, and housekeeping supply demands.
- Preferred educational background includes a diploma or degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
- Capability to work on-site, manage numerous tasks, meet deadlines, and abide by Hilton's policies and ethical standards.
