Job Overview
Hi-Point Services (I) Pvt. Ltd., an ISO 9001:2015 certified company specializing in integrated solutions including designing, assembly, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and manufacturing, is seeking a Purchase Engineer. This position is based in Mumbai and Bayyavaram (Anakapalle), India.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate purchase requisitions thoroughly to understand procurement requirements.
- Identify potential suppliers and solicit competitive bids through quotations.
- Assess and compare both technical specifications and commercial offers from vendors.
- Conduct negotiations focusing on price, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
- Generate and issue purchase orders and oversee adherence to delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of materials or equipment.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in any specialization.
- Between 3 to 6 years of experience in procurement within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
- Possesses technical understanding of engineering materials and related equipment.
- Strong skills in negotiation and cost analysis to support procurement decisions.
