Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for goods and services within the organization.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, engage in contract negotiations to secure favorable terms.
  • Oversee purchasing activities from requisition initiation through to delivery of materials.
  • Monitor inventory to maintain adequate stock levels and promptly reorder as needed.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends and procurement best practices.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers, addressing and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to company purchasing policies, procedures, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with departments such as finance and production to align purchasing with organizational requirements.
  • Prepare, analyze and track purchasing reports and budget allocations effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external coordination.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess supplier offerings and market conditions.
