Job description

About the Company

Staffing Global Network LLP bridges Indian talent with global opportunities, especially collaborating with U.S. businesses. Their innovative insourcing model integrates skilled Indian professionals directly into client teams as valued global contributors.

Role Summary

This hybrid position combines expertise in publication setup with active graphic design tasks. The successful applicant will design magazine advertisements, classifieds, and print promotional materials targeted mainly at U.S. publications. Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud apps — particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop — is essential. Past experience in working efficiently under pressure and meeting tight deadlines is critical. Familiarity with QuarkXPress is an advantage but not compulsory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and format magazine ads, classifieds, and print advertisements for newspapers and magazines.
  • Work extensively within Adobe Creative Cloud tools including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Create layouts that meet specific printing requirements such as size, bleed, trim, and color specifications.
  • Produce and hand off print-ready artwork with appropriate color profiles, resolution, bleeds, and export parameters.
  • Engage with U.S.-based clients to understand project briefs, clarify specifications, and ensure delivery of quality designs.
  • Review and proofread layouts to assure accuracy, brand consistency, and compliance with guidelines.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet stringent deadlines.
  • Maintain and update templates, styles, and client publication formats.
  • Keep abreast of trends in print production, typography, and publication layouts.
  • Modify print layouts for digital platforms as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Solid practical experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Deep familiarity with print production, publication layout standards, and prepress workflows.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adhere to tight, frequent deadlines.
  • Previous work designing for magazines, weekly publications, classifieds, and print ad formats.
  • Excellent command of English communication, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with American publication companies is highly desirable.
  • QuarkXPress experience is beneficial but not a must.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing publication design and print-related projects.
  • Practical skills and experience take precedence over formal academic qualifications.

Additional Information

  • This role provides direct interaction with U.S. publication clients, offering international exposure.
  • The environment is fast-paced, providing experience in global publication processes.
  • The work culture is supportive, fostering collaboration.
  • Competitive salary and chances for professional advancement are provided.
