About the Role
Join Atrium Hospitality as a Public Space Attendant in Huntsville, AL, where your efforts will maintain and enhance the cleanliness and welcoming environment of the Embassy Suites hotel public areas. This full-time, onsite position offers a rewarding career path with a company dedicated to service excellence and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms, ensuring cleanliness and presentation are consistently excellent.
- Perform deep-cleaning duties such as carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and reaching high surfaces for dusting with professional care.
- Manage and organize cleaning supplies and carts, keeping them fully stocked and ready for use.
- Support Room Attendants by replenishing linens, disposing of waste, and preparing rooms when needed.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and safety issues, enhancing their overall experience.
Candidate Qualifications
- Prior experience in janitorial or hotel housekeeping roles preferred, demonstrating effective and thorough cleaning skills without disturbance to guests.
- Minimum education level of high school diploma or equivalent, providing a foundation to develop in the hospitality industry.
- Keen attention to detail, ensuring areas like mirrors and lobbies are spotless and inviting.
- Physical capability to move continuously during shifts, including walking, bending, lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible schedule availability covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs.
