Public Area Attendant

About the Role

Join the dedicated housekeeping team at Kohler Hospitality to help preserve the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of our hotel’s public areas and guest facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of public sitting rooms, corridors, and restroom areas throughout the hotel.
• Clean and service the dining areas including restaurants and banquet halls.
• Sweep and vacuum carpets and area rugs to uphold a pristine environment.
• Polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a polished look.
• Vacuum and polish elevator interiors.
• Ensure the hotel entrance and front exterior remain free from litter and debris.
• Clean various floor and fabric surfaces using equipment such as vacuum cleaners, brooms, dustpans, and shampoo machines in the front of house areas.
• Complete daily assigned cleaning tasks in restrooms, lifts, backstage areas, terraces, and other designated zones.
• Adhere to special cleaning schedules directed by housekeeping management or control desk.
• Promptly report any maintenance concerns to supervisors or the housekeeping desk.
• Follow the hotel's lost and found procedures diligently.
• Offer assistance to guests within public spaces as required.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with shifts occurring on both weekdays and weekends, generally between 5:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Requirements

• No prior hotel or lodging experience is mandatory, though it is advantageous.
• Must be physically capable of standing for prolonged periods and able to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
• Applicants must have valid authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits
