About the Role

We seek skilled clinicians eager to apply their expertise in varied and impactful environments, working with a broad client base across multiple clinical settings. Our Palmerston North office offers flexible full or part-time positions with a minimum commitment of two days weekly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload involving approximately 6.5 hours of client contact daily.
• Deliver evidence-based talking therapies such as CBT, EMDR, DBT, Schema Therapy, and ACT.
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and prepare detailed professional reports.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated client care.
• Provide services across contracts including ACC Sensitive Claims, Psychological Services, Training for Independence, Pain Management, as well as Police and private referrals.
• Clinical and neuropsychologists may offer or develop neuropsychological assessment services.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree or higher in Psychology accredited by the Psychologists Board of New Zealand.
• Proficiency in high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapies and assessments.
• Strong communication, team collaboration, independent time management, and task prioritization skills.
• Neuropsychological assessment roles require vocational registration as clinical or neuropsychologist and completion of graduate-level neuropsychology coursework.
• Knowledge of psychopathology and diagnostic frameworks such as DSM-5-TR or ICD 10/11 is essential.
• Must hold current registration with the Psychologists Board of New Zealand and a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Membership with the New Zealand Psychological Society or The New Zealand College for Clinical Psychologists is expected.
• Possess a current full New Zealand driver’s license and be a New Zealand or Australian citizen or have a valid New Zealand work visa.
