Hope Prosthetic & Orthotic Rehabilitation Centre located in Kochi, Kerala, invites applications for the position of Prosthetist & Orthotist. Established in 2021, HOPE specializes in prosthetics, orthotics, and rehabilitation, crafting and fitting artificial limbs, orthotic devices, diabetic footwear, and more to enhance patient mobility and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine their specific prosthetic and orthotic needs.
• Conduct detailed clinical and functional assessments.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices tailored to individual patients.
• Take precise measurements, casts, or scans required for device production.
• Perform fitting sessions, align, adjust devices, and conduct follow-up assessments.
• Track patient progress and adapt treatments accordingly.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding device usage, maintenance, and care.
• Collaborate closely with physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, doctors, and clinical team members.
• Accurately document patient records and treatment details.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, ensuring safety and professional ethics.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma or degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics or Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology from an accredited institution.
• Open to both fresh graduates and experienced practitioners.
• Competent in clinical patient assessment and handling.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset willing to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
