Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for a driven Proposal Specialist to oversee the creation, coordination, and submission of high-quality technical and commercial proposals responding to RFQs, RFPs, and tender opportunities. The candidate will bring expertise in managing proposals, cost estimation, pricing strategies, and coordination across teams to ensure accurate and timely proposal deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents to identify technical, commercial, and compliance requirements while meeting submission deadlines.
- Prepare and coordinate detailed technical and commercial proposals comprehensively.
- Build pricing models, quotations, cost estimates, and commercial offers aligned with company goals.
- Perform costing, pricing, and commercial analyses using advanced Microsoft Excel techniques.
- Ensure proposals are accurate, complete, compliant, and meet customer and tender specifications.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and suppliers to collect and verify necessary information.
- Maintain proposal documentation, templates, pricing databases, and historical data records.
- Handle multiple simultaneous bid opportunities with efficient schedule tracking and punctual submissions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in proposal management, tendering, bidding, costing, pricing, or commercial operations.
- Demonstrated track record of preparing and submitting technical and commercial proposals.
- Comprehensive understanding of RFQ, RFP, tendering, bid management, costing, and pricing workflows.
- Experience with government or defense sector tenders is a significant advantage.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pricing models, formulas, and data analysis for cost calculations.
- Strong English communication, analytical abilities, organizational skills, and stakeholder management.
