Role Overview – Proposal Manager

As ElevenLabs expands globally, the Proposal Manager will spearhead strategic pursuits within their region, managing the entire lifecycle of complex procurement bids from qualification to submission. This role involves decoding evaluator requirements, shaping response strategies in collaboration with account teams, coordinating contributions across sales, engineering, legal, and security departments, and ensuring timely, high-quality proposals.

The role leverages an AI-centric RFP system that automates routine tasks like drafting, compliance checks, and content retrieval, enabling the Proposal Manager to focus on strategy, positioning, and quality improvements. The candidate is expected to continually optimize the process by developing templates, content, and workflows for company-wide benefits.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex enterprise RFP or bid responses end-to-end, preferably within the technology sector.
• Strong proficiency and builder mindset in using AI and automation tools, including experience with internal tooling or process optimization.
• Excellent writing and editing skills to translate technical and commercial inputs into compelling, compliant proposals.
• Robust project management abilities to coordinate multiple contributors, review cycles, and approvals across diverse teams and time zones under tight deadlines.
• Good commercial judgment to interpret scoring criteria, distinguish winning responses, and evaluate pursuit worthiness.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of additional languages beyond English.
• Experience with security or compliance questionnaires.
• Background in technical roles or pre-sales functions.
