Proposal Engineer

Job Overview

The Proposal Engineer will be tasked with drafting comprehensive technical proposals focused on power generation and industrial utility projects. This role requires close collaboration with various departments including engineering, procurement, project management, and commercial teams to produce competitive bids responding to client requests such as RFQs, RFPs, and tenders.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret RFQs, RFPs, and tender documentation thoroughly.
• Create detailed technical proposals tailored to project requirements.
• Engage with engineering teams and external subject matter experts to gather necessary technical data.
• Prepare accurate engineering cost estimates.
• Assist in client meetings and provide support during bid clarifications.

Technical Expertise Desired

• Experience with Thermal Power Plants.
• Knowledge of Combined Cycle Power Plants.
• Familiarity with Renewable Energy Projects.
• Understanding of Chemical Plant operations.
• Exposure to Oil & Gas industry.
• Insight into Balance of Plant Systems.
• Experience working in Consultancy Engineering Services.

Qualifications and Experience

• Professional background in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or Consultancy organizations.
• Participation in both domestic and international power project proposals.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
