Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Property Valuer to join a well-established real estate team in East Ham. This role is ideal for a property expert with extensive local market insight, skilled in conducting valuations, securing new business, and offering reliable client advice. You will manage a diverse portfolio of residential properties, blending valuation proficiency with strong client relationship management and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform residential property valuations and market appraisals accurately.
- Provide realistic pricing recommendations grounded in current market trends.
- Acquire new instructions and convert valuation prospects into business.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with vendors and landlords.
- Leverage existing clients and local contacts to create business opportunities.
- Advise on property presentation, marketing techniques, and pricing approaches.
- Collaborate with sales and lettings teams to optimize opportunities.
- Monitor the local property market activity and competitor performance continually.
- Keep clients informed throughout marketing and transaction processes.
- Assist in negotiations between buyers and sellers when needed.
- Ensure smooth progression of properties from instruction to successful completion.
- Maintain detailed records and update property management systems.
- Work towards achieving individual and team performance goals.
- Represent the business professionally in the local property sector.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience as a Property Valuer, Senior Negotiator, or an equivalent role.
- Thorough understanding of East London's residential property market.
- Proven track record in conducting valuations and securing instructions.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
- Confidence in engaging with vendors, landlords, buyers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong history of achieving sales or valuation targets.
- Proactive in generating new business opportunities.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Outstanding customer service orientation and relationship-building capabilities.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence is an advantage.
