Key Responsibilities
As part of the Property Valuation Consultant team, you will be the foremost expert on property valuation concerns within FM. Your duties will include providing authoritative advice on valuation methodologies, completing and auditing property valuations (including those by third parties), and ensuring all assessments adhere to FM’s stringent standards. You will collaborate extensively with Client Service Teams, Claims, prospective and current accounts, and Appraisal Services to offer thorough valuation assistance throughout the policy lifecycle. Additionally, you will contribute to special projects, influence modeling inputs, and promote consistent valuation practices among colleagues. This role also involves training clients and internal staff on valuation principles and mentoring junior consultants.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, real estate, commerce, or related disciplines
- Minimum of five years’ experience in real and personal property valuation, encompassing expertise in building construction, machinery identification, and understanding complex manufacturing and non-manufacturing operations
- Proficient in written and spoken English communication
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
