Role Summary
The Property Manager will oversee and expand a residential property portfolio, ensuring exceptional service delivery to both landlords and tenants. This role involves managing relationships, coordinating maintenance, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining accurate records and systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of residential properties.
- Secure new property management contracts and cultivate client relationships.
- Oversee communications and support for landlords and tenants.
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain standards.
- Coordinate maintenance tasks and manage contractor relationships.
- Handle tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and tracking arrears.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant tenancy laws, specifically the Residential Tenancies Act.
- Maintain accurate documentation and system records.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in residential property management.
- Strong dedication to delivering exemplary customer service.
- Excellent relationship-building capabilities with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability over managed portfolios.
- Confident, professional, and empathetic communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-focused setting.
- Possession of a full New Zealand driver’s license.
