About the Role

We are seeking a Proofreader to join our AI projects team remotely. This position involves meticulous review of final copy to detect and correct errors related to typography, grammar, punctuation, and formatting. The role demands careful comparison between the final proofs and source documents to ensure absolute accuracy and control of late changes prior to release.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine final versions of documents to identify typographical, grammatical, and punctuation mistakes.
• Verify uniformity in spacing, headings, page layout, and prevent repeated text.
• Cross-check names, figures, and corrections against authorized source material.
• Implement only essential corrections during the final proofreading stage.
• Compile and report unresolved inconsistencies before the proof is finalized.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years and proficient English communication skills.
• Sharp attention to detail for spotting minor language and formatting issues.
• Strong ability to compare proofs with original sources and manage any late amendments rigorously.
• Dependable high-speed internet connection and an appropriate home office setup.
• Prior experience in proofreading, copy editing, or reviewing documents is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation
