About the Internship
This internship offers hands-on experience in crafting and optimizing prompts for advanced large language models such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. The role involves contributing to AI-driven product development by writing and refining prompts, building prompt libraries, and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of model outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, test, and improve prompts tailored for large language models integrated in AI products and tools.
- Create and manage a structured prompt repository including version control, test scenarios, and evaluation feedback.
- Assess the accuracy, tone, and edge cases of model responses, documenting areas of failure for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with developers to embed prompts within applications through API integrations and validate complete workflows.
- Investigate retrieval augmented generation (RAG), function calling capabilities, and agent-based workflows for real-world applications.
- Conduct benchmarking of various models and prompt techniques focusing on quality, cost efficiency, and response latency.
- Develop clear documentation and demonstration materials of AI functionalities for internal teams and client presentations.
Candidate Eligibility and Requirements
- Availability for a full-time, in-office internship spanning 3 months, commencing between August 17, 2026, and September 21, 2026.
- Possess foundational skills and a strong interest in prompt engineering and AI.
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with degrees such as BE/BTech, BCA/MCA, BSc/MSc in IT or equivalent.
- Practical experience with ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini platforms along with basic proficiency in Python is highly advantageous.
- Submission of AI-related projects, GitHub repositories, or examples of prompt experiments is encouraged.
Stipend and Benefits
- A monthly stipend ranging from INR 5,000 to 8,000.
- Certification upon completion and a letter of recommendation.
- Work schedule of 5 days per week with an informal dress code.
