About the Role
Join our team as a Project Officer based in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, working full-time on a fixed term contract until 30 June 2028. This role offers a competitive annual salary starting at $92,902 and provides relocation assistance for successful candidates. Who We Are Looking For
We seek an experienced Project Officer with a strong history in collaborative work, governance, and developing project management tools and processes. The ideal candidate should be skilled in facilitating communication and negotiation among staff, communities, government agencies, and private organizations.
- Proven project management expertise overseeing diverse projects within the MacDonnell Regional Council's communities
- Deep understanding of the cultural, social, and political environment of remote Indigenous communities
- Demonstrated cultural respect and sensitivity for engaging effectively with Indigenous communities and local authority groups
- Adaptive, collaborative approach and a passion for making a positive impact
