Position Overview – Project Manager, Structures and Capital

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager passionate about delivering impactful infrastructure projects that benefit the community. You will join the high-achieving Connect Hamilton team and play a key role in the strategic planning and delivery of structures, amenities maintenance, and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver maintenance, renewal, and capital initiatives punctually, cost-effectively, and to superior standards
• Oversee planning, budgeting, and reporting across multiple concurrent projects
• Champion a culture prioritizing safety and performance within your teams and contractors
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Hamilton City Council, NZTA, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Manage tendering, procurement strategies, and continuous improvement programs

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Post-secondary qualification in Engineering, Business, or a relevant discipline preferred
• Demonstrated project management experience in civil construction or infrastructure maintenance
• Proven leadership capability and team development expertise
• In-depth commercial and contract management knowledge
• Collaborative approach with a focus on solutions and continuous improvement
• Dedicated commitment to Zero Harm safety initiatives and sustainable practices
