Project Manager – Strategy & Impact Business Enablement

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager based in Saudi Arabia to lead strategic initiatives and business enablement projects that create significant organizational impact. This role involves managing projects end-to-end, ensuring they align with strategic goals and deliver measurable results. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior management, cross-disciplinary teams, external partners, and subject experts to translate complex business needs into practical, actionable plans. This position requires proficiency in both structured project delivery and Agile/hybrid methods and offers opportunities to enhance project management processes and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategic projects, programs, and enablement initiatives across all project phases from initiation through closure.
• Develop clear project objectives, scope definitions, success criteria, schedules, governance frameworks, and delivery strategies.
• Lead facilitation of discovery workshops, requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping to define business needs and project boundaries.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, change requests, and conflicting priorities, advising sponsors and governance bodies with recommendations and escalation plans.
• Coordinate activities among cross-functional teams, leadership, external vendors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables, approvals, and communications.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level updates, risk evaluations, options analyses, and decision support materials.
• Support Agile and hybrid delivery models via backlog management, sprint planning, roadmap development, stakeholder engagement, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee multi-disciplinary workstreams including communications, marketing, digital content, events, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement.
• Enhance project delivery methodology, governance policies, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder management to raise organizational project management maturity.
• Coach teams and stakeholders on effective project delivery, governance, and collaborative practices.

Candidate Requirements

• A total of five to eight years of relevant business experience, with a minimum of three to four years in managing projects, organizational change, or business transformation.
• Preferably holds a post-secondary qualification in Project Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or related fields.
• Possession of a recognized project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or an equivalent credential.
• Expertise in managing all stages of project lifecycles: planning, execution, monitoring, delivery, and closure.
• Proven skills in requirements gathering, business analysis, scope definition, stakeholder interviews, facilitation, and process mapping.
• Demonstrated capability to handle project scope, constraints, dependencies, risks, and change management.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation, influencing, and facilitation abilities, adept at leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience employing Agile, hybrid, and traditional project management frameworks, including backlog and sprint management.
• Solid knowledge of project governance, executive decision-making support, organizational change management, and business transformation initiatives.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors, consultants, and varied stakeholder groups.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in presentations, reporting, and analyzing complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Excellent organizational aptitude, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and tools for project management, scheduling, reporting, collaboration, and backlog management.
• Ability to guide teams towards standardized, effective project delivery practices within dynamic settings.
