Joining TFI means becoming part of a dynamic and rapidly expanding international organization dedicated to delivering quality and sustainability.

Position Overview

This role involves establishing an internal Project Management Office (PMO) that will oversee projects spanning Operations, Finance, HR, IT, and support for engineering teams. Based at the Rose Park office, you will implement project methodologies, establish planning and scheduling practices, define milestones, and enforce performance, reporting, and financial management processes.

There are numerous ongoing projects, with many more planned. Your expertise will significantly shape the company’s project execution framework by introducing standardized templates and enhancing the capabilities of business leaders, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Develop and manage a PMO function that oversees multiple business projects across different departments.
  • Implement project management methodologies suited to TFI's environment, such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.

  • Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders to maintain alignment and support.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to enhance project management skills among teams and business leaders.
  • Maintain high attention to detail, solve problems efficiently, and manage time effectively.
  • Occasionally travel between company sites as required.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Formal education in Project Management along with recognized certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (CSM preferred).
  • Extensive hands-on experience in delivering projects from start to finish within set timelines and budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and enhance the skills of project teams and business leaders.
  • Knowledge and application of multiple project management approaches, selecting the most appropriate for each situation.
  • Experience working in GMP and HACCP manufacturing settings is an advantage.
  • Exceptional stakeholder communication and engagement capabilities.
