Project Manager

Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and delivering both internal and client development projects. The role demands strong experience or familiarity with bid management, ensuring projects meet deadlines and stay within budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Function as Bid Manager for customer bids, aiding the production of comprehensive quotation documents and thoroughly costed project plans.
• Present quotations, bid documents, and costed project models to senior leadership for approval.
• Develop initial bid schedules with resource estimations to coordinate with functional heads for detailed scheduling.
• Manage assigned projects to meet predefined timeframes and budget requirements.
• Create detailed Project Plans including task breakdowns, timelines, and budget forecasts.
• Collaborate across business units to verify data accuracy in Project Plans and ensure seamless transition from Sales to Projects teams.
• Request and coordinate internal and external resources essential to project completion.
• Track project progress against schedule, budget, and plans, updating as needed.
• Secure formal agreement for any adverse variations in project revenue, profit, or schedule within project guidelines.
• Detect project delays and develop strategies to recover timelines and milestones.
• Communicate any schedule changes to stakeholders and agree on corrective measures.
• Support the Financial Controller with financial instruments management and timely invoicing based on project milestones.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Competent in Microsoft Project or similar project scheduling tools.
• Ability to gather and analyze technical information effectively.
• Strong overall ICT proficiency including understanding of common hardware, software products, and internet usage.
• Awareness of cybersecurity principles.
