Role Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee strategic IT infrastructure transformation projects for a premier Saudi banking client. Responsibilities include leading initiatives across data center modernization, cloud preparation, network upgrades, workplace enhancements, platform updates, server and storage refreshes, and strengthening resilience, all while ensuring continuous business operations with minimal interruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct modernization and transformation projects across data centers, cloud environments, networks, and workplace solutions.
- Collaborate closely with architecture, infrastructure, security, network, and operations teams to align efforts.
- Manage vendor engagements and steer enterprise migration strategies.
- Maintain seamless business function during transformation activities, minimizing disruptions.
- Monitor project budget, risk factors, resource allocation, and key milestones.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 8 years in managing IT infrastructure projects or delivering enterprise transformation programs.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- In-depth understanding of infrastructure components including data centers, cloud platforms, networks, and enterprise delivery methodologies.
Mandatory Certifications and Skills
- PMP certification is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead extensive infrastructure modernization or transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience in hands-on management of vendors and enterprise migration processes.
Preferred but Not Required
- Experience within banking or highly regulated enterprise sectors.
- Familiarity with cloud migration platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and hybrid infrastructure approaches.
- Past involvement in infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
