Role Overview

The Project Manager Ireland will be pivotal in establishing Geely's Irish operations, steering the market entry and launch plan, and supporting ongoing business expansion. This hands-on position requires coordination across multiple functions to ensure a timely and efficient launch of the brand in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate delivery of the Ireland market entry and product launch program, collaborating with all relevant functional areas.
• Oversee the Ireland Subsidiary Project Management Plan, keeping project activities, milestones, owners, and dependencies up to date.
• Monitor the critical launch timeline, proactively identifying risks and escalating issues for resolution.
• Work closely with workstream owners to ensure commitments and actions are met on schedule.
• Manage cross-department dependencies involving Sales, Network Development, Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Logistics, Aftersales, Customer Experience, and others.
• Implement project governance practices such as milestone tracking, risk and issue management, action logs, decision tracking, and regular progress reviews.
• Recognize gaps and potential challenges beyond individual team reports and address them to maintain momentum.
• Engage relevant stakeholders promptly to resolve issues and eliminate obstacles to progress.
• Create clear, succinct dashboards, launch timelines, and management updates derived from detailed plans.
• Support leadership with project reviews, management reporting, and preparation for key decision-making forums.
• Serve as a liaison connecting the Ireland team with Geely UK, Corporate Headquarters, and other group entities.
• Coordinate launch-readiness assessments, ensuring thorough closure of all outstanding actions.
• Assist with operational and commercial projects beyond launch activities as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and strategic projects during the transition to regular operations.
