Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to lead and manage IT infrastructure and Microsoft Cloud projects within a structured PMO environment. This role involves direct responsibility for project execution, anticipating and overcoming obstacles, and delivering outstanding results beyond mere coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement comprehensive project plans managing scope, budget, and timing meticulously.
- Identify potential issues early and address them proactively to keep projects on track.
- Facilitate effective collaboration among technical teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Supervise the deployment, upgrading, and migration efforts for Microsoft Cloud platforms (Azure, M365, Security) and related IT infrastructure.
- Ensure solutions are scalable and meet the long-term needs of the business.
- Forecast risks and deploy mitigation strategies to prevent delivery disruptions.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients and executives, establishing yourself as a reliable advisor.
- Lead focused meetings to clarify deliverables, expectations, and planning.
- Balance multiple priorities to keep projects moving forward while maintaining client engagement.
- Optimize team resource allocation, pairing the right personnel to tasks effectively.
- Cultivate strong relationships across technical, business, and leadership teams.
- Hold project teams accountable to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Apply best practice standards and governance throughout projects.
- Conduct detailed post-project assessments to encourage ongoing improvement.
- Ensure projects are completed precisely with no outstanding issues.
Candidate Profile
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Cloud solutions including Azure, M365, Entra ID, and Security, alongside strong IT infrastructure expertise.
- Demonstrated success managing IT projects within an MSP context.
- Solutions-oriented thinker with a drive to confront and resolve challenges.
- Ability to juggle complex, concurrent projects effectively.
- Experience with PMO-driven project management approaches.
- Excellent and persuasive communication skills suitable for technical and leadership audiences alike.
- Accountability for outcomes rather than just task completion.
- Mandatory Project Management certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master; technical certifications like MS900 or AZ900 are advantageous.
