About the Role

Take charge of leading projects that transform cutting-edge hardware designs into fully manufacturable products. As a Project Manager, you will guide hardware manufacturing initiatives from initial planning stages through to production release, delivering complex projects with transparency and confidence.

Your role will be essential in synchronizing efforts among engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams. You will oversee priority management, monitor progress, and proactively mitigate risks to ensure smooth project delivery.

The position requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams spanning hardware, software, systems, and operations, providing an opportunity to solve challenging delivery issues and make meaningful impacts.

Team and Culture

Joining the Manufacturing Technology group within Manufacturing Operations, you will engage with teams located in Bristol, Cambridge, India, Taiwan, and the US to develop and sustain manufacturing processes.

Daily interactions involve close cooperation with engineers, development managers, programme managers, and external manufacturing collaborators. Success depends on clear communication, meticulous planning, and collective ownership of project outcomes.

The team embraces practical problem-solving and evidence-based decision-making, empowering individuals with responsibility to keep projects moving forward.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A university degree or comparable substantial experience in the industry.
• At least five years of pertinent experience, including a minimum of three years managing technical projects in cross-functional teams.
• Proficient project management skills with familiarity in various methodologies such as waterfall, scrum, and agile frameworks, enabling selection of the most suitable approach for each project.
• Hands-on experience with project and program management tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
• Demonstrated capability in operating within global settings alongside international partners.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities to juggle dependencies and competing tasks effectively.
• Self-driven, team-oriented, and able to thrive in dynamic environments.
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to manage stakeholders ranging from technical experts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing and test procedures.
• Experience engaging with advanced suppliers within PCBA and system-level manufacturing supply chains.
