Role Overview

The position requires a practical and experienced Project Manager to oversee electrical initiatives from initial planning through execution, testing, commissioning, and the final project handover stage. This role demands active fieldwork with frequent site visits and travel to client premises, making it a field-driven opportunity rather than an office-only occupation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee electrical projects to ensure they meet deadlines, maintain quality, and adhere to budget constraints.
• Supervise on-site activities including installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Coordinate efforts among project engineers, technicians, contractors, vendors, and manage material procurement processes.
• Handle electrical turnkey project execution and manage PCC, MCC, and APFC control panel requirements.
• Oversee energy audit processes, power quality enhancements, energy management initiatives, and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Conduct frequent site inspections, address technical challenges, and liaise effectively with clients.
• Monitor project finances including budgets, BOQs, billing cycles, along with maintaining comprehensive documentation and progress reports.
• Ensure adherence to electrical safety norms, project specifications, and client expectations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant 5 to 8 years experience in electrical project execution, preferably within industrial or commercial sectors.
• In-depth familiarity with electrical schematics, BOQ preparation, estimation, installation procedures, and commissioning.
• Proven expertise in site supervision, team leadership, vendor management, and client communication.
• Technical proficiency using MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Additional experience with control panels, energy audits, or electrical maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability and willingness to undertake frequent travel to project sites and client locations.
