Job description
Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for the strategic leadership of hard services operations, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. This role involves coordinating large multidisciplinary teams, managing maintenance programs, overseeing contracts, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight for the operations, maintenance, and infrastructure projects related to hard services.
- Lead and manage large teams including engineers, supervisors, and technicians from diverse disciplines.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems as well as civil works.
- Manage maintenance contracts ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Efficiently control budgets, manpower, equipment, and other resources.
- Serve as a technical expert to diagnose and resolve complex operational challenges.
- Drive energy-saving initiatives and track utility consumption to enhance efficiency.
- Guarantee full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Prepare detailed and accurate technical and operational reports.
- Identify potential operational and technical risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Professional certifications in Facility Management or Project Management are preferred.
- At least 12 years of substantial experience in hard services or facilities management.
- Proven track record leading large facilities or managing complex facility management projects.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities managing sizable technical teams.
- Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, civil works, and maintenance best practices.
- Competency in communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Experience in project estimation and preparing proposals.
Additional Details
- Must be flexible to respond to on-call duties during emergency situations.
- Ability to operate across both construction sites and active operational facilities is required.
