Project Manager - Construction

About the Role

We are actively seeking a seasoned construction professional to take charge as a Project Manager based in Andheri East, Mumbai. This role demands hands-on leadership to coordinate site teams and ensure projects are delivered punctually and within budget at Western Line project locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and oversee construction projects from start through completion.
• Manage project timelines, budgeting, resource allocation, and key deliverables.
• Supervise site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Track construction progress to guarantee projects finish on schedule.
• Maintain quality assurance, adhere to safety regulations, and comply with construction specifications.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, clients, and internal departments.
• Review project plans, BOQs, material needs, and documentation.
• Oversee labor productivity, material consumption, and site expenditures.
• Identify potential risks and resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Compile progress reports and regularly update management on project status.
• Ensure all work meets relevant construction standards and site safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of eight years' experience in construction or project management.
• Proven expertise in site execution and coordination of projects.
• Experience in managing contractors, vendors, and site teams effectively.
• Knowledgeable in construction planning, project estimation, bill of quantities, and cost control.
• Ability to read and analyze construction drawings accurately.
• Strong leadership qualities, problem-solving aptitude, and excellent communication skills.
• Capability to juggle various activities and consistently meet deadlines.
• A degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
