Role Overview
The Project Manager position, based full-time on-site in Accra, is responsible for the comprehensive management of telecommunications infrastructure and network solution projects. The individual will handle project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring that all milestones, budgets, and quality standards are achieved. This role involves overseeing logistics, expediting activities, managing inspections and compliance adherence, and coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients to address any challenges and maintain progress. The Project Manager also ensures timely progress reporting, accurate documentation, and supports ongoing improvements aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Skills in expediting, tracking materials, equipment, and supplier performance to adhere to project timelines.
- Capability in supervising and conducting quality, safety, and compliance inspections within telecommunications infrastructure.
- Proficiency in logistics management, including the planning and coordination of materials and equipment movement across various project locations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience in telecommunications or infrastructure projects within Africa is advantageous.
- Familiarity with project management tools, Microsoft Office suite, and methodologies such as PMI or PRINCE2 is beneficial.
