Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a utilities and public realm construction project located in Tralee, County Kerry. This pivotal role involves comprehensive management of site operations, ensuring compliance and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct on-site activities, maintaining strict Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards
• Coordinate all site operations to adhere to project schedules and contractual obligations
• Manage commercial and operational facets of daily site functions
• Engage with client representatives and various stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and successful project delivery
• Supervise both direct labor and subcontractor teams effectively
• Lead a multidisciplinary team consisting of engineering, commercial, planning, and HSQE professionals
• Oversee procurement and maintain efficient supply chain processes

Candidate Profile

• At least five years of relevant experience in project management, preferably focused on utilities and public realm sectors
• Familiarity with Public Works Contracts (PWC) is beneficial
• An engineering degree or qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication capabilities
• Proficient in project management methodologies and IT tools
• Experienced in managing client relationships from start to finish of projects
• Adept at problem-solving and negotiation to overcome project challenges
