Project Manager

About the Role

This permanent, full-time position is located at our head office in Devonport, Tasmania. Reporting directly to the General Manager - Developments, the Project Manager will serve as the owner's representative, driving strategy and advocacy throughout the complete project lifecycle. Key duties involve managing planning complexities, mitigating risks, and enhancing project efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Directing and supporting the team to ensure the achievement of project objectives through comprehensive planning and teamwork.
• Maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards above expectations, following the Total Integrated Management System guidelines.
• Delivering projects compliant with the Building Code of Australia and other applicable Australian Standards.
• Overseeing commercial project aspects such as contract management and financial tracking.
• Championing safety culture, fostering accountability and care at all organizational levels.
• Encouraging environmental stewardship in all phases of project implementation.
• Participating in site meetings and preparing monthly project reports.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated track record in commercial project management and delivery.
• Strong communication capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Project.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
• Familiarity with National Construction Code and Tasmanian Planning Scheme requirements.
• Proficient in managing financial components of projects.
