About the Role

Akula Landmarks Private Limited is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the comprehensive execution of a commercial high-rise construction project located in Pune, Maharashtra. This full-time position demands substantial expertise in managing large-scale real estate construction with an emphasis on high-rise buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the entire process of executing a commercial high-rise building project.
• Formulate, track, and manage project schedules and milestones to ensure seamless progress.
• Supervise daily construction activities in alignment with approved timelines.
• Coordinate works involving RCC, structural elements, architectural design, finishing, façade and MEP, including external developments.
• Manage all stakeholders including contractors, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and site personnel.
• Monitor utilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and overall productivity and resources.
• Review and ensure compliance with project drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and requirements.
• Liaise closely with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, PMC, and other key partners.
• Oversee project financials including cost, billing, measurements, material consumption, and variations.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and construction specifications on-site.
• Implement and maintain site safety protocols and ensure statutory compliance.
• Identify potential risks, execution delays, and challenges; develop and apply recovery or corrective measures.
• Conduct frequent site visits, progress meetings, and provide detailed updates to management.
• Maintain all project documentation such as progress reports, schedules, and management information systems.
• Drive projects to timely completion while managing budget and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Extensive experience of 10 to 15 years within real estate construction, with over 5 years as a Project Manager on high-rise projects.
• Demonstrated background in commercial high-rise building construction and management.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of high-rise construction processes and project execution strategies.
• Proficient management of multiple contractors, vendors, consultants, and site teams.
• Strong expertise in coordination of RCC, structural, finishing, façade, and MEP components.
• Skilled in project scheduling, cost control, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
• Familiarity with Primavera, MS Excel, AutoCAD, and general MS Office applications.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.

Candidate Profile

The desired candidate will show a proactive approach by taking full ownership of project implementation. They must be adept at managing site teams and coordinating multiple parties to overcome challenges and ensure projects finish on schedule, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.
