Project Engineer - ELV/BMS

About the Role

The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and executing Building Management Systems (BMS) and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) projects onsite, ensuring smooth coordination, installation, and commissioning activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of BMS and ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Fire Alarm & Public Address (FAPA), networking, and HVAC control systems.
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal site teams to ensure project alignment and timely progress.
• Evaluate and review project documentation such as drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), point schedules, and technical specifications.
• Maintain and submit daily and weekly progress reports while also managing material requirements for ongoing projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges on site to avoid delays and achieve project deadlines.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in any specialization.
• Demonstrated experience of 3 to 5 years in ELV and BMS project execution.
• Hands-on experience with testing and commissioning activities is advantageous.
• Familiarity with BMS, CCTV, ELV, IT/ELV Networking, HVAC Controls, BACnet, Modbus protocols, AutoCAD, and Access Control Systems is expected.
