Job Location and Work Schedule
This full-time role requires physical presence at the Kaman, Vasai, Mumbai site, with working hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Position Overview
We are seeking candidates for two roles: Trainee Engineer (suitable for freshers) and Project Engineer in Automation with 1-2 years of experience. The Project Engineer will engage in the design and deployment of PLC-based automation and instrumentation solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and engineer automation and instrumentation systems utilizing PLC technology.
- Create detailed drawings and maintain comprehensive documentation to support projects.
- Develop PLC and SCADA software tailored to automation requirements.
- Perform testing, debugging, and commissioning procedures for automation systems.
- Ensure seamless integration of automation solutions with factory equipment on-site.
- Conduct troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and regular system inspections.
- Commit to extensive travel to remote locations for installation and commissioning, which may last from a few weeks to several months.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related fields.
- Proficient in PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic and Function Block Diagram (FBD), along with SCADA and control systems knowledge.
- Experience with Emerson systems is advantageous.
- Project Engineer candidates must have 1-2 years of relevant automation experience.
- Minimum education performance requirements: SSC with 80% for freshers and 70% for experienced individuals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective collaboration skills.
