As a valued partner of the Masterton District Council, the company manages various public spaces including parks, playgrounds, gardens, and other infrastructure to ensure they remain clean, attractive, and functional.
Role Overview
As a Project Coordinator reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing site maintenance projects involving earthworks, construction, and machinery operation. Your role includes managing project coordination, preparing pricing quotes, and ensuring all work complies with contract standards, particularly for prominent public areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects by liaising regularly with the Operations Manager, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on timelines and objectives.
- Provide hands-on assistance to the team by performing landscaping and installing or repairing outdoor features such as picnic tables, bollards, and shelters.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, keeping them updated throughout the project lifecycle.
Preferred Experience
Experience operating diggers is advantageous. Additionally, you will support the team broadly during periods of lower project activity.
