Role Overview

The Programmatic Specialist plays a vital, client-facing role managing daily programmatic campaigns across channels such as Display, Native, Video, and Audio. Responsibilities span campaign creation, optimization, and detailed reporting, all while developing tailored strategies for clients and maintaining seamless communication with internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage programmatic campaigns on various DSPs including DV360 and The Trade Desk.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create media strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Utilize first-party and third-party data for accurate audience targeting and segmentation.
  • Continuously optimize campaign performance to meet pacing and KPIs.
  • Analyze and report campaign results, offering actionable insights.
  • Troubleshoot issues affecting campaign delivery and outcomes promptly.
  • Coordinate with creative, analytics, and account teams to ensure campaign coherence.
  • Serve as the main client contact, providing regular updates and presenting performance reports and strategic guidance.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years in programmatic roles within publishers, advertising agencies, or ad tech firms, preferably with B2B experience.
  • Proficient hands-on experience in media buying and campaign optimization within DSP platforms such as The Trade Desk and DV360.
  • Demonstrated expertise in programmatic media planning, buying, and in constructing mechanisms to measure campaign success.
  • Comprehensive understanding of how programmatic and other marketing channels integrate to exceed client KPIs effectively.
  • Proven ability to grow programmatic efforts for clients managing monthly budgets above $50,000 in the B2B/SaaS sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate extensively both internally and with clients.
  • Exceptional analytical aptitude, attention to detail, and a drive for results capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Performance Targets

  • Achieve 100% of Net Sales Margin (NSM) goals.
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) ratings of 4.4 or higher.
