Overview
We are seeking a Program Manager to lead and enhance our instructional teams, especially focusing on adult learners in financial education. This role will involve selecting, onboarding, coaching, and retaining a diverse group of qualified instructors to deliver high-quality training aligned with industry standards and learner needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong and diverse pool of instructional talent, prioritizing inclusion and equity in teaching approaches.
- Collaborate with senior management, including the Country Manager and CEO, to meet financial targets through effective hiring and forecasting.
- Strategically staff instructional teams tailored to various learner profiles such as financial professionals and investing public.
- Work closely with sales and student success teams to ensure consistent communication and support throughout the learner engagement cycle.
- Lead onboarding processes to prepare instructors by introducing curriculum details, organizational procedures, team integration, and foundational adult learning concepts.
- Foster ongoing coaching relationships to promote positive learning environments and address diverse learner needs.
- Partner with marketing and sales units to uphold delivery quality standards and coordinate support for individual learners.
- Implement and uphold instructional quality standards through observation and tailored coaching interventions.
- Regularly assess course outcomes and learner feedback, using data-driven plans to enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Cultivate trust and open communication with instructors to support their development and align on shared objectives.
- Innovate and improve instructional management practices as part of the global leadership community, sharing best practices and piloting new initiatives.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Proven experience managing multiple team members in educational or corporate training settings.
- A strong history of motivating, developing, and empowering direct reports.
- Experienced in recruiting processes including candidate sourcing and interviewing for instructional roles.
- Proficient in delivering and facilitating adult learning/training experiences.
- Skilled at assessing instructional quality and offering practical coaching to improve learner outcomes.
- Capable of identifying improvement areas and designing innovative solutions, even amid ambiguity.
- Adept at managing challenging interpersonal dynamics and conducting growth-focused conversations.
- Knowledge of maintaining IBF grants and course accreditations, including SkillsFuture Credit Claims.
- Competencies include strategic planning, talent attraction (especially in finance-related areas like Compliance, AML, CFA, CFP), interpersonal skills, instructional leadership, and fostering innovation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Background in an IBF Accredited Training Provider, university, or adult education organization.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in adult education.
- Holds ACTA or ACLP certification.
