Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU), formerly Ghana Technology University College, is now a fully established public university under the Ghana Communication Technology University Act 2020 (Act 1022). Located in Tesano, Accra, Ghana, GCTU specializes in Information and Communication Technology education and offers an environment supportive of teaching, learning, research, and faculty development.

Position Overview

The Business School at GCTU invites qualified individuals to apply for the role of Professor in one of its departments: Management and Human Resource, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Candidates should specify their intended rank and department in their application letter's subject.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Ph.D. in a relevant specialization is mandatory.
• Candidates must have prior appointment as a Professor at a recognized university with equivalent conditions as GCTU, including at least three years as an Associate Professor and a minimum of fifteen publications in reputable journals; alternatively, Associate Professors aspiring to become Professors will first be appointed as Associate Professors to undergo GCTU's promotion process.
• Submission of names and contact details of three referees is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in teaching, supervision of students, research activities, community service, and support faculty development in line with expectations for a Professor at a public Ghanaian university.
