Role Overview

The Professional Services Director leads and oversees all Professional Services departments within Nostra, including Security, Compliance, Modern Work, Project Management, and Central Scheduling. This leadership role ensures that project deliveries are efficient, profitable, and scalable, meeting stringent quality standards, scope, and budgetary constraints. Continuous performance enhancement, resource optimisation, and expense management are key responsibilities.

Collaborating closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, and senior leadership teams, the director aligns demand with delivery capabilities to translate sales pipelines into successful project execution, supported by data-driven hiring and resource strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive delivery efforts across all Professional Services functions, maintaining high service standards.
• Promote operational efficiency and scalability in delivery teams by implementing governance, frameworks, and best practices.
• Manage financial aspects of service delivery, including P&L oversight, revenue, margins, and cost control.
• Monitor project profitability, addressing overruns and maximizing billable utilization rates.
• Supervise central scheduling and resource distribution to optimize utilization aligned with sales forecasts.
• Oversee project management methodologies, governance, risk management, and timely reporting.
• Work alongside Sales and Pre-Sales teams to ensure delivered projects meet capacity and profitability goals, contributing to solution design and estimation.
• Provide clear, actionable reports on delivery performance metrics and use data insights to inform organizational decisions and team KPIs.
• Develop and nurture a high-performing multi-disciplinary delivery team, fostering a culture of accountability and ongoing improvement.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within Professional Services or Delivery departments.
• Strong commercial insight, particularly in owning and driving services P&L.
• Proven ability managing diverse delivery teams covering areas like cloud, security, consulting, and project management offices.
• In-depth knowledge of resource utilization, scheduling, and capacity planning techniques.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across Sales, Pre-Sales, and executive leadership levels.
• Expertise in developing scalable delivery frameworks and governance models.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven reporting and performance analysis.
