About the Role and Team
The Professional Qualifications Specialist position is based in Dublin, Ireland, within the Core Business Services (CBS) function at EY. The Talent Team supports the company's 5000 employees throughout the employee lifecycle, focusing on fostering an engaging and innovative work environment. This role is part of the EY Education Team, which manages key professional qualification pathways in Ireland such as CAI, ACCA, and CIMA.
Key Responsibilities
The specialist will work closely with trainees and business leaders to provide exceptional exam support, ensuring candidates succeed in their professional qualifications on the first attempt. Responsibilities include managing administrative tasks like data upkeep, handling team mailbox inquiries, tracking course attendance and examination compliance, organizing exam support programs, and processing enrolments and fees.
They will also act as a subject matter expert for exam protocols, collaborate with professional bodies and internal stakeholders, oversee exam results and policy execution, and facilitate discussions with senior management and trainees. Additional duties include managing study leave processes, implementing firm policies on professional qualifications, improving related procedures, and supporting cross-functional talent projects.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
The ideal candidate is highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills. Proficiency in IT tools such as Word, Excel (advanced level), Outlook, and SharePoint is essential. Experience with professional qualifications or related educational environments is required. They must be adept at multitasking, learning new systems swiftly, and building strong relationships across various levels of the organization.
