Overview
Selwyn District Council invites applications for a dedicated Professional Partnership Programme Lead & Auditor to oversee and expand the esteemed Professional Partnership Programme (PPP). This role plays a vital part in positioning Selwyn as a preferred building consent authority while ensuring high standards in building compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships with PPP partners through effective communication and engagement.
- Drive programme expansion, marketing, and operational oversight for sustained growth.
- Conduct thorough technical evaluations and annual reviews of partners to uphold standards.
- Perform quality system audits to assure programme integrity and compliance.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements within the programme.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate communicates effectively across diverse stakeholders ranging from tradespersons to executives, demonstrates strong auditing expertise, and upholds integrity and impartiality. Excellent organisational and detail-oriented skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and digital tools.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in varied New Zealand building projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the New Zealand Building Act 2004, building consent procedures, and Building Consent Authority (BCA) accreditation requirements.
- Proven ability to cultivate and sustain professional relationships with both industry and internal teams.
- Experience in customer-facing roles within the construction or building sector.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities to handle competing priorities.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to varied audiences.
- Self-motivated with initiative to proactively pursue enhancements.
- Dedication to compliance and delivering quality outcomes.
- Effective time management and project planning skills.
- Possession of a valid full Driver's licence.
