Production Team Member

This role involves preparing dough that meets strict food service guidelines, maintaining equipment sanitation, and handling dough with utmost care.

Key Responsibilities

• Place dough balls into clean trays following Papa John's Food Service standards.
• Properly date, stack, and rotate dough trays while maintaining them at the correct cooling temperatures.
• Uphold and document Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) cleanliness and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination.
• Pre-soak trays and run them through the tray washer efficiently.
• Implement advanced lockout/tagout procedures on all dough production equipment before cleaning.
• Clean, rinse, and sanitize dough processing machinery and production areas after production concludes.
• Record process documentation such as sanitation, rejection protocols, and dough weight, signing off as required.
• Wear appropriate safety attire and follow established safety protocols at all times.
• Support general housekeeping duties within the Quality Control Center upon request.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment to maintain carpets and other flooring surfaces.
• Use cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment safely and correctly.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Sanitation, HACCP policies & procedures, and regulations from OSHA, FDA, DOL, and Papa John's corporate policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Shift Details and Compensation

Hiring is open for both first and second shifts. The second shift includes sanitation responsibilities. Compensation can be up to $20 per hour.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in production or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Food handling certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to comprehend written and spoken instructions in English.
• Good hand-eye coordination is necessary.
• Capacity to perform repetitive tasks for extended durations.
• Basic math skills are preferred.
• Fundamental mechanical aptitude is preferred.
