Production Supervisor

About the Role

CTRAK Auto Industries seeks a proactive and accountable Production Supervisor to oversee daily shop-floor operations, ensuring production flows efficiently, meets deadlines, and maintains superior quality standards.

Primary Duties

• Oversee daily manufacturing activities and manage shop-floor workflows.
• Assign tasks to production personnel and track their output.
• Ensure achievement of production goals and schedule adherence.
• Monitor product quality to reduce rejects and rework.
• Collaborate with management, inventory, and other departments for smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate production logs and daily reporting.
• Optimize the use of labor, equipment, and raw materials.
• Enforce discipline, safety protocols, and cleanliness on the shop floor.
• Detect production bottlenecks and assist in implementing corrective solutions promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in production or manufacturing environments.
• Mechanical Engineering background (Diploma, BE, or BTech in mechanical/production engineering or related field).
• Familiarity with manufacturing or production workflows.
• Experience in team leadership and shop-floor supervision.
• Skilled in production planning and monitoring progress.
• Quality control knowledge and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in basic computer usage, especially MS Excel.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Preference for candidates with experience in automotive components, fabrication, or related manufacturing sectors.
• Ability to independently manage workers and daily production tasks.
• Applicants must be Chennai residents.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary package between ₹300,000 and ₹350,000.
• Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) coverage.
• Employment stability within the automotive accessories manufacturing industry.
