Production Supervisor

Role Overview

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing shift operations to guarantee efficient workflows and high productivity levels. The role demands supervising a team of 25-30 workers, managing manpower distribution, and ensuring smooth shift transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee daily production shifts to maintain seamless operational activities.
• Supervise production personnel throughout all designated shifts.
• Allocate workforce prioritizing production demands and efficiency.
• Define, measure, and enhance process cycle times to maximize output.
• Detect minor machine issues, coordinate prompt repairs to reduce downtime.
• Monitor product quality and team performance consistently.
• Ensure continuous production during shift handovers, minimizing interruptions.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors of other shifts for workflow continuity.
• Accurately document production data utilizing Google Sheets or management-approved formats.
• Liaise with external vendors to manage timely inbound and outbound outsourced jobs.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in sheet metal manufacturing or a closely related sector.
• Hold a Diploma, B.Tech, or B.E. degree in Mechanical, Production Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Have a robust understanding of bending machine operations, CO2 welding, laser cutting, spot welding, and sheet metal fabrication techniques.
• Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities to effectively guide and motivate teams.
• Be prepared to work in alternating week two-shift schedules.
• Own a motorcycle and reside within commuting distance of Gokul Shirgaon MIDC.
