Production Specialist - Digital FX

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Production Specialist to maintain and improve our vital Digital FX, electronic trading, and client-centric platforms. This front-office role involves direct collaboration with Trading and Sales teams to uphold system stability, resilience, and performance within our worldwide trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee incident resolution, problem analysis, and production management to sustain platform reliability and deliver superior service.
• Provide operational support and application management for Digital FX and electronic trading infrastructures.
• Conduct proactive health checks on platforms before the Asia-Pacific market opens to identify and mitigate potential issues early.
• Act as a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), leading efforts in automation, reducing repetitive tasks, enhancing observability, and other strategic initiatives.
• Partner with engineering teams to manage platform releases, upgrades, and transformation projects.
• Contribute actively to the bank's cloud migration and the integration of cutting-edge AI technologies.
• Investigate recurrent incidents to improve system robustness and service quality.
• Support change rollouts, which may include occasional work during weekends.
• Be present in the office for at least three days each week.

Required Skills and Experience

• Over 10 years of practical experience supporting front-office trading platforms.
• More than 5 years of direct collaboration on the trading floor with Trading and Sales teams.
• Proven track record in supporting client-facing FX electronic trading platforms, including single-dealer and digital solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of low-latency electronic trading environments.
• Proficiency in development and scripting languages such as Python, Java, and SQL.
• Advanced troubleshooting and automation capabilities across Unix/Linux and Windows systems.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools like Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Geneos, and Corvil.
• Experience with cloud platforms and emerging artificial intelligence technologies.
• Strong understanding of FX and Fixed Income markets, including FX Spot, Forwards, Options, Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDFs), Bonds, and Interest Rate Swaps.
• Expertise in pricing, risk management, and electronic trading processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts effectively.

Desirable Qualifications

• Certifications in cloud computing, Python programming, site reliability engineering, or automation fields.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong customer orientation with a talent for building trusted relationships between technology teams, business units, and leadership.
• Demonstrated success in driving automation, operational excellence, and platform modernization efforts.
