Job Overview and Responsibilities
As a Production Operator reporting to a Production Supervisor and working from our Singapore Corporation Place location, you will undertake a broad range of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks. Your main duties include assembling components and sub-assemblies through wiring, hand soldering, cable harnessing, and installing parts following blueprint specifications and supervisor guidance. You will conduct setups, adjust settings to precise tolerances, work from process sheets or verbal instructions, and carry out inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Qualifications and Work Conditions
- Minimum education at secondary school level.
- Capability to work shift schedules, including 12-hour day shifts with a rotation pattern of 4 days on and 3 days off.
- Preference for candidates with at least 1 year of experience as an operator in an SMT (Surface Mount Technology) environment.
- This position is offered as a 12-month contract with possibilities for renewal or conversion to permanent employment.
- Work location is in the western region of Singapore, with transportation pick-up available from Jurong East and Lakeside MRT stations.
