Position Summary

We are currently recruiting a Production Operator for our manufacturing facility located in Gort, County Galway. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role featuring a three-week rotating shift pattern without weekend work.

Shift Details

• Week 1: Three 12.5-hour day shifts (6:00am–6:30pm)
• Week 2: Four 12.5-hour night shifts (6:00pm–6:30am)
• Week 3: Two 12.5-hour day shifts (6:00am–6:30pm)

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and other automated machinery to manufacture components, sub-assemblies, and final products.
• Execute routine activities such as production, assembly, packaging, and materials handling following standard operating procedures.
• Perform basic checks, corrections, and maintenance on machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Comply with quality, safety, and documentation protocols to maintain product standards.
• Address routine manufacturing issues by following predefined procedures and seek assistance when necessary.
• Effectively communicate with team members and internal stakeholders to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Engage in a culture emphasizing teamwork, agility, accountability, respect, and continuous improvement focused on patient outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• At least six months of experience working with CNC or automated machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Capability to carry out basic machine maintenance and adjustments.
• Educational qualification equivalent to Leaving Certificate or similar.
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment.
• Strong collaborator who values contributing to meaningful work.
• Physically able to frequently lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Proficient with computers, especially Microsoft Office applications.
